Photos on the big screen...

This cabinet was designed to house a 42" flat screen television used for viewing client photos at Snap'd Shotz Photography. In addition to space for the TV the cabinet features three step rolled doors. When opened the metal doors reveal storage space for albums and other studio items. The use of expanded metal adds style but also helps vent hot air away from the television.  While this unit was built with specific needs in mind, custom cabinets made to order are available.

Here's lookin' at you...

Used to check your hair or to adjust your tie, a mirror from Black Falcon Fabrication will have it covered. A bead rolled and hand dimpled frame surrounds a worn piece of vintage mirror. The thinning and missing silvering of the mirror tell it's age. One can only image the faces it has seen. Other sizes and designs are available depending on inventory of antique mirror on hand.

No. 12 Cabinet Before and After

Found worn and rusted, this old piece of medical equipment has been repurposed into a more useful storage cabinet. The name is derived from the number 12 that was found stamped into the top after a layer of  paint was removed. With one drawer and a hinged door this cabinet would be great for stowing away the TV remotes or books and magazines. Antique casters with wooden wheels were attached to the legs for added height and to aid in mobility. Available for purchase at Antiques in Milton located downtown Milton, Delaware.

UPDATE! This cabinet has been sold. I was lucky enough to be in the store when the new owners made the purchase. I had a wonderful time talking to them and hope they enjoy the piece for years to come.

The Medium Wood Top Cart

The ruggedness of steel and the warmth of wood are combine in the make up of this cabinet. 1" box and 1" x 2" tubing create the frame. The bead rolled steel sides and back panel have a rich rusted patina suggesting years of service in a shop or old warehouse. The top and two inside shelves are lightly distressed and are left raw so that future use will create new wear and add to the story of the cart. Expanded metal doors keep stored items in place but still viewable from the outside.

Take your medicine

Inspired by apothecary cabinets of the early 1900's this display case could be just what the doctor ordered. The top glass enclosed display area has 2 removable glass shelves to hold keepsakes and curiosities. Salvaged from older cabinets the glass windows and shelves have lite scrapes and scratches that add a sense of use and age to the cabinet. Hand turned rivet heads and bead rolled steel sheet  lend dimension and style. The angle steel frame with it's flared legs make this piece of furniture sturdy and long lasting. 20" x 20" x 70" Can be seen in person in Milton, Delaware at Antiques in Milton.

10 Feet of Storage

Constructed to hold office supplies this storage unit's size commands attention. The cabinet has 6 doors with arched expanded metal windows. The step rolled expanded metal inserts are framed with half round bead work and hand hammered dimples. An adjustable shelf is located behind each set of doors. This piece measures 42" tall, 17" deep and 10' long.

Storage Locker...

Standing at 74" tall this double door locker can handle your storage needs with ease.  The frame is built from 1" box tubing that is clad with 18 gauge cold rolled steel. The doors show off  step and half round bead work along with 160 hand hammered dimples. The patina comes from the help of  Mother Nature along with other hand applied techniques. Overall dimensions of this locker are 16" x 24" x 74". Similar lockers can be custom built to your needs including half as tall and single door.

Coffee Table

Wood and steel are combined to make up this sturdy coffee table. The steel frame is constructed from c channel, angle and flat stock. A black stain darkens the metal but still allows the details of the hot rolled steel to show through. The wood top and bottom shelf have a semi-smooth texture and are coated with a gray stain. The table measures 24" x 48"  and is 21" tall. If you would like to see the table in person please stop by Antiques in Milton, in historic downtown Milton, Delaware.
